Once a year we take care of your fireplace: cleaning, checking, inspecting the seals. We get in touch in good time before the appointment, so you don't have to think about a thing.

Fault analysis for a blackened glass with measurement report

Does the glass blacken quickly, does the stove draw poorly or smoke when you add wood? We measure what is causing it and tell you what helps. You receive the report to read at your leisure.
What is included
- Measurement of draught and flue gas temperature during operation
- Check of air supply and negative pressure in the room, for example from an extractor hood or ventilation
- Measure wood moisture, go through operation and air controls together
- Inspect the seals and the airwash system
- Measurement report with cause and recommendation
It should be possible to light the stove during the appointment. This is not an official measurement or acceptance inspection; both remain with the district chimney sweep.
